Generosity Takes Many Forms

We often think of money when we hear the word “generosity”, but that is not always the case. People, companies, and organizations can be generous in many ways, and we are so grateful for everyone that contributes to our community to help us provide a welcoming space where no one has to face cancer alone. It can be difficult to quantify the impact of a warm, delicious meal, or how a special flower arrangement can brighten a mood. Sometimes, a piece of art can connect with someone on a meaningful level, or an otherwise unaffordable service can be offered to expand our offerings. Expertise, access, and connections are often counted on, but not formally considered gifts, and they are vital to our mission.

Sometimes generosity can be measured, and sometimes it is simply felt—but in every case, it plays a vital role in our success. We are grateful to all those who help make Red Door Community an inviting and inspiring place, including our volunteers, expert speakers, activity facilitators, those who donate auction items for our fundraising events, and so many more. Thank you all for your generous contributions this year!

We specifically want to thank the companies that donated to make this year’s social events special for our members.
