Friends and supporters of Gilda’s Club NYC hit the gym this month to sweat for more than just a new year’s resolution, thanks to a fundraiser at Barry’s Bootcamp hosted by our Associate Board. The event took place at Barry’s Bootcamp Park Avenue South on Saturday, January 25th. Members of the Associate Board are some of Red Door Community’s most dedicated ambassadors – using this class as an opportunity to spread awareness for our free cancer support program and also raise funds to ensure we can continue to serve New Yorkers impacted by cancer.
The Associate Board (AB) is a group of dedicated young New Yorkers who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of individuals touched by cancer. The mission of the Associate Board is to promote awareness of Red Door Community in the community it serves through philanthropic initiatives and volunteer service. The Associate Board will also host their annual fundraising event in June, The Gildie’s, a party with a purpose featuring live music, a silent auction, food and dancing with all proceeds directly supporting Red Door Community.
