Triage Cancer is a national nonprofit organization that provides free education on the legal and practical issues that may arise with a cancer diagnosis.

Your health insurance can influence access to cancer treatment, specialists, prescription medications, supportive services, and the costs you pay along the way. With open enrollment approaching, having a clear understanding of your options can help you feel more prepared to make informed decisions about your coverage.

- Compare health insurance plans: Identify key factors to consider, including access to cancer care and specialists, prescription drug coverage, provider networks, and potential out-of-pocket costs.
- Prepare for open enrollment: Understand the enrollment process, important deadlines, and resources available to help you select and enroll in a health insurance plan.
Meet the Presenter
Amanda Goodstadt is Senior Staff Attorney at Triage Cancer, where she develops educational resources, leads trainings, and provides legal and financial navigation to people coping with cancer. She oversees Triage Cancer’s Legal Advisory Council and Pro Bono Network and represents the organization on national coalitions. Drawing on her personal caregiving and cancer experiences, Amanda is committed to helping others navigate the practical and legal challenges of a cancer diagnosis.
