Why Red Door Community?

At Red Door, no one faces cancer alone.

By helping people process the impact of cancer, emotional and social support strengthens overall well-being and keeps individuals engaged in treatment, work, and daily life. Research shows that psychosocial support improves coping skills, reduces anxiety and depression, and builds resilience for patients and caregivers. At Red Door Community, we provide an evidence-based model that complements medical care.

What’s happening now

What our members are saying…

Red Door Community is so important to me because after I got cancer, I learned to love again, I learned to support again, and I learned to live again.

Having an organization like this where the door is open, you see this Red Door and you come in and you are embraced and … immediately encouraged and your heart just smiles and knowing that you don’t have to go to find the money to be able to access such invaluable activities and programs.

Even now, while we meet virtually, I have access to resources I can’t find anywhere else.
