This article focuses on New York Medicaid Long Term Care for seniors, which will pay for care in a nursing home, a beneficiary’s home and other settings through one of three programs – Nursing Home Medicaid, Community Medicaid or Disabled, Aged or Blind (DAB) Medicaid. (PSI) is a non-profit, charitable organization that provides a “safety net” for patients with chronic illnesses who are struggling to keep up with expensive premiums and co-payments. PSI supports patients living with specific chronic illnesses by: subsidizing the cost of health insurance premiums, providing pharmacy and treatment co-payments assistance, assisting with Medicare Part D Co-insurance, helping with advocacy for Social Security Disability and providing Compassionate Prescription Assistance Programs through the PSI-PI Pharmacy (a non-profit pharmacy).
