Dan Latore, CEO of Red Door Community, was thrilled to be a first-time participant in the Golf Fights Cancer marathon this past weekend. This amazing event brought together 150 dedicated golfers, each playing 100 holes, to raise vital funds for the cancer community.
RDC was introduced to this fantastic initiative by John Cooney, who recently joined our team to help build relationships and expand our reach, and we couldn’t be happier that he did! The energy and dedication at the marathon was truly inspiring.
“I appreciate everything Golf Fights Cancer does to raise money in support of the cancer community,” shares Dan Latore. “It was a thrill for Red Door Community to be a first-time participant in this amazing event. I feel honored to have had the opportunity to participate in the Golf Fights Cancer Golf Marathon on behalf of Red Door Community, and we appreciate everyone who made a donation to support us!”
This year, Golf Fights Cancer raised an astounding $1.2 million so far, which will be distributed through grants to nonprofits, research institutions, and other specific initiatives dedicated to supporting those affected by cancer.
As part of the event, Dan had the opportunity to introduce Red Door Community to the entire group and share how our programs help thousands of people in need of support. We were welcomed graciously as newcomers, and we fully expect to return every year to be a part of this amazing fundraising opportunity.
To date, Team RDC has raised more than $23,000 for Red Door Community through this event, but we’re not stopping there. We want to raise even more to ensure that no one faces cancer alone.
