Each year, World Cancer Day invites us to pause and reflect on the millions of individuals and families impacted by cancer – and to reaffirm our shared responsibility to ensure no one faces it alone.
At Red Door Community, this day mirrors the heart of our work. In a recent conversation, our leadership reflects on what continues to guide us forward this year: the power of community, the importance of showing up consistently, and the belief that support must extend beyond medical treatment. While World Cancer Day is marked once a year, the work it represents happens every day.
Cancer affects far more than the body. That’s why our programs are rooted in whole-person support, addressing emotional well-being, fostering connection, and creating space for people to feel seen and supported at every stage of the cancer experience.
On World Cancer Day, and every day, we remain committed to standing with those impacted by cancer, strengthening our community, and ensuring no one has to face cancer alone.
We invite you to watch the conversation above and reflect with us on what it means to show up, together, this year.
